BMW coding questions
Will CarPlay work on my car?
CarPlay activation works on EVO iDrive 5/6, MGU iDrive 7 and EntryEvo Business Nav with a WiFi port. If you can't tell which unit you have, message us and we'll help you identify it.
Can I get fullscreen CarPlay?
Yes, if your car already has split-screen CarPlay. Most factory CarPlay on F-series cars fills only a third of the screen. On software NBTevo_N or above we convert it to fullscreen, from £50. Versions NBTevo_H to NBTevo_M need a software update first.
My iDrive keeps rebooting. Can you fix it?
Usually, yes. It's most common on F3x cars with Business Navigation. We apply a software update that cures the system crash. If the unit itself has failed, we can order a replacement and code it to your car.
Why update my car's software?
BMW revises its software over time. Updates can fix bugs and improve performance and fuel consumption. Most cars are only updated during dealer visits, so many never are. We update engine, gearbox, traction control, fuel pump, steering, chassis and suspension software.
How is tuning priced?
Prices vary by engine module. Tell us which engine your car has (N13, N54, N55, B58, S55, S58 or S63) and we'll price it for you. MHD tuning starts from £250.
Can you code my car if I'm not local?
Yes. Our remote coding solution is available globally, and we have customers in 16 different countries. Message us with your car and the job, and we'll tell you if it can be done remotely.
Do you take trade work?
Yes, traders accounts are welcome. Message us with your business name and the work you need.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. Saturday and Sunday by appointment. WhatsApp is the quickest way to book.
